The story of Adam and hawa
The story of the creation of our father Adam, peace be upon him
Allah created our father prophet Adam from clay and honored him by his hands, and he breathed into him from his soul.
When the angels heard that Allah - the Almighty - wanted to disobey the earth, Adam, peace be upon him, and his offspring, to live, they were surprised by how he would spoil the earth and shed blood. In your praise and sanctify you, "and when Allah completed Adam, Adam created Allah command the angels to prostrate to him, so all the angels prostrated in response to the command of God, except that Satan refused to prostrate to Adam, arrogant to prostrate to those who created God from clay.
So God wrote upon him to disobey God to come out of Heaven, and to be from the people of Hell, so Satan asked God to look at him until the Day of Resurrection and Adam fascinates and his offspring, to look at whether they obey God or not, so God looks at him until the Day of Resurrection, and he told him that he will not have authority over His servants.
God honored Adam and his wife by inhabiting them as Paradise, and permitted them to enjoy all of its bliss, except for one tree that God has appointed to them, and forbidding them to eat from them indicating to them that their proximity to it will be an injustice for themselves, and as soon as they moved away from it, they are in great bliss, so there is no hunger that will touch them, thirst, or monument.
Adam and Eve lived in Paradise in Naim until Satan Liosus came to them to eat from that tree, convincing them that eating from its fruits would make them from the immortals in heaven. Satan deluded Adam and Eve and assassinated them by eating from that tree, dividing them that he was a counselor and that they would not have any harm from that. Adam and Eve were deceived by the saying of Satan, so they eaten from the tree, so their misfortunes appeared to them and they were taken from the papers of Paradise, and knowing that they had fallen into disobedience. Adam and Eve initiated repentance to God from their guilt, and the resulting eating from the tree that God forbade, so God repented to him, and this sin had his punishment, which is that God brought Adam - peace be upon him - and Eve from Heaven, to land to the earth, and they lived and their death in it.
The story of Qabil and Habil
the two sons of Adam peace be upon him, is one of the earliest moral and spiritual lessons recorded in religious tradition. It appears in the Qur’an.
The Story of Qabil and Habil
After Adam and Hawa were settled on earth, they had children among them were two sons: Qabil and habil.
According to tradition, Qabil was a farmer who was working the land, while Habil was a shepherd who was keeping them.
As part of a test from Allah, both were asked to make a sacrifice.
Habil offered a healthy ram, the best of his flock sincere and pure in his intention.
Qabil, however, offered some old crops of poor quality, not caring much about the sacrifice or pleasing Allah.
Allah accepted Habil’s offering, but not Qabil’s.
This made Qabil burn with envy and anger. He felt humiliated and rejected. His jealousy overcame him, and he threatened his brother.
Habil, who was pious and humble, replied gently:
((If you stretch your hand to kill me, I shall not stretch my hand to kill you. I fear Allah, the Allah of all worlds)).
But Qabil could not contain his hatred, In a moment of rage and jealousy, he killed his brother committing the first murder in human history!!.
After the terrible deed, Qabil was overcome with remorse and confusion.
He didn’t know what to do with his brother’s body. Then, Allah sent him a crow, which scratched the earth to show him how to bury the dead.
Qabil said:
((Woe to me! Am I not even able to be like this crow and hide the disgrace of my brother)).
He became one of the regretful but his act had lasting consequences.
Lessons from the Story many and include:
1: Sincerity Matters: Habil’s offering was accepted because it was sincere. It’s not about what you give, but what reason and how.
2: Self-Control: Habil chose not to respond with violence, showing strength through patience and faith.
3: Jealousy Destroys: Qabil’s envy led to the first murder a powerful warning about the dangers of jealousy.
4: Consequences of Sin: Qabill’s remorse came too late a reminder that actions have consequences.
How Many Children did Adam and Hawa Have?
The exact number of children that Prophet Adam peace be upon him and Hawa had is not definitively stated in the Qur’an and Hadith, so we rely on Islamic historical sources and scholarly interpretations. Here's what is commonly narrated:
According to traditional Islamic reports like Ibnu Kathir, dabari, and others:
Adam and Hawa had many children possibly hundreds, as humans at that time lived very long lives and populated the earth through their offspring. It is said that each time Hawa gave birth, she delivered twins: one boy and one girl.
These twin pairs were part of Allah’s plan to spread humanity, but a boy from one pair would marry the girl from another pair, since at that time it was necessary for human propagation and there were no other families.
Some Known Names from historical sources
While only Qabil and Habil are directly mentioned in the Qur'an, other children are mentioned in early Islamic history, including:
1:Qabil, the elder son who killed his brother out of jealousy.
2:Habil, the righteous son whose offering was accepted.
3:Seth Not in the Qur'an, but found in many Islamic traditions.
Regarded as a prophet and the righteous son born after Habil’s death.
Adam is said to have passed on his knowledge to Seth, who became a leader of humanity.
Many scholars say Seth was born alone, not as a twin, and was chosen to continue Adam’s legacy.
Some sources also mention other names such as:
Aclima Often said to be Qabil’s twin sister
Lubluba Said to be Habill’s twin sister.
These names are from non-canonical historical narrations and are not found in the Qur’an or Hadith.
